Van der Valk Hotel Paris CDG Airport

The staff were courteous, the room was great, and the airport shuttle worked well. There’s also a bus route to the airport when the shuttle isn’t running, plus a market with a good selection. I’d read reviews about the construction before booking and was concerned, but it didn’t disturb me at all. Absolutely amazing.

The front office staff did try to listen and understand, but the management let us down badly. Even after paying so much, we couldn’t get clean towels or glasses. I specifically asked for the room to be cleaned while I was at work, but when we got back late it was exactly as before. It took another two hours for them to bring towels and clean. By then it was late, so we asked them just to hand over clean towels and leave. This is the worst hotel in the Paris CDG area for both cleanliness and service. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was good, and the TV was decent. The room worked fine for a short stay, and breakfast was okay. The gym was decent too. But the rooms are separated by just a wooden door, so you hear everything. That alone means I wouldn’t book again. When I booked through hotels.com, there was no mention that the spa was closed for renovation. The hotel website did say the property was under renovation, but didn’t say the spa was shut.

I went to an event organized by the RPPF team at Van der Valk Hotel CDG, and it was a really impressive day. The venue was clean, elegant, and well equipped for a professional gathering. The event was carefully managed, with a welcoming atmosphere, and the hotel staff were friendly and professional throughout. The food and refreshments were high quality too. I’d highly recommend the RPPF team and Van der Valk Hotel CDG for future events.
