Verneuil Patio Saint Germain Des Pres

We chose this charming little hotel after doing our research, and the staff were amazing. It’s a unique place, with just 14 rooms in a building that’s over 200 years old. Our fifth-floor suite had everything we needed, though really we only slept there. The street was quiet, and the rooms were too. It’s walkable to anywhere in the city, and the metro is close. Thanks, Hotel de Lille, for making our Paris trip so wonderful!

The reception team were always welcoming and friendly. We skipped breakfast at the hotel since there are so many excellent cafés nearby, so I can’t comment on it. We picked Hotel de Lille for its proximity to the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, and Rive Gauche, and what a gem it was. It’s a classically small hotel with 12 rooms, and calling our room a “junior suite” felt like a bit of a stretch. But the location near the Seine and everything Paris has to offer was wonderful. Quiet, quaint, and reasonably priced for the area. We’d highly recommend it.

The room was nicely appointed, although the bed wasn’t king size as we’d expected. The hotel is beautiful and on a quiet street, with friendly staff and a nice European breakfast featuring fresh-squeezed orange juice. We especially liked how close it is to Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Orsay.

Marie was especially helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Check-in was easy and welcoming, and the place was spotless. We felt comfortable and well looked after. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, a lovely way to start the day. The location was ideal, near Museum Louve & Orsay, cafés, restaurants, and the main attractions, while still feeling quiet and safe at night. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.
