There are boulangeries, cafés and restaurants right nearby, and the location is excellent for enjoying the area. Our upgraded room was roomy, clean and comfortable, with nice attention to detail. At check-in we found a small problem with the door lock. Paola at the front desk immediately offered an upgrade and handled the change smoothly. Her professionalism and warmth made a real difference from the start. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd highly recommend the hotel. Many thanks to Paola for such great service.

I checked out of room 86 at Hotel Victor Hugo Paris Kléber after staying from 21 to 24 November. The room was in good condition, and I was told my 100€ security deposit would be back within one day. Six days later, it still hadn't arrived in my bank account. I've tried reaching the hotel but couldn't find a working phone number, which made this even more frustrating. I work in media and often write about travel, and had hoped to say positive things about the hotel. The way this has been handled doesn't reflect well on its policies or professionalism. I'm still waiting for the refund, and hope management resolves it promptly for me and future guests. My name is Mohammed Al-Sarhani.

The room itself was just right, with working AC, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The view wasn't much, maybe because I booked a last-minute deal, though I realize not every room can have a good one. Metro stations are very close, and there are plenty of restaurants around, plus lots of breakfast choices if you add breakfast to the room. I'd stay here again if I'm back in Paris.

Coming back after a tiring day to find a message from the hotel wishing me a lovely day in Paris was such a nice touch. The place was neat and clean from the moment I checked in, and I knew I'd picked the right hotel. Thank you, Hotel Victor Hugo.
