Villa Royale

Every staff member we met was kind, helpful and happy to assist with anything. The room was clean and nicely presented, and it worked perfectly as a base for seeing Paris. It was very small, though, and the hotel decor is a little dated. The excellent staff alone would make me recommend it, and I’d definitely stay again.

The room was small, but it had a balcony looking out at the fountain across the street. The location is great, with lots of places to eat and things to see within walking distance. The people working here are amazing, welcoming and polite. This probably will be my regular place when I come to Paris. It’s a good-priced boutique-style hotel, and you’ll love it if that suits you. If you prefer big chain hotels, it may not be for you.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is lovely. Housekeeping was a bit inconsistent, and the room furniture, especially the lamps and table, could use an update. I’d come back mainly for the wonderful staff and location.

There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby, and everything is within walking distance. The rooms were clean and a good size, with a spacious, nice bathroom. Water pressure was so-so, but it wasn’t a big problem. The front desk service was exceptional, and no request was too much trouble. I’ll definitely stay here again.
