Hotel Waldorf Montparnasse

The room was spacious, clean, and charming, and I felt cozy coming back to it each evening. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my three-night stay. I booked this little boutique hotel at the last minute for a last-minute trip to Paris, and it turned out to be the best accommodation of my European trip. I stayed in two other countries too, and those hotels were below par. I hadn’t noticed when booking how lively the neighborhood was. There are all kinds of shops, restaurants, and nightlife nearby, along with several Metro stations and bus stops. It felt safe and was easy to get around on foot. Montparnasse and this hotel are a great base for tourists. I had no problems and would stay here again when I’m back in Paris. I believe it has only 30 rooms.

Breakfast downstairs was just right for a traveler, and the staff were competent. The room was clean and tidy, with what I needed, and the price was good. Shops, restaurants, and the Metro are all very close. I was very happy.

A small, clean hotel with friendly staff, and a very handy spot if you’re using Gare Montparnasse. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, though there’s a busy pub right next door.

The recently redone bathroom was great, and the room felt fairly spacious for central Paris. The bed was okay, though some of the other furniture could use refreshing. I worried at first about facing the road, but the double glazing did its job and it was quiet overall. Breakfast was good, with fresh baguettes, and the breakfast room was roomy compared with those in some other Paris hotels. The staff were up to the job. The location is hard to beat if you’re heading to Gare Montparnasse, so it’s a good choice for this part of town.
