The rooms were cold because the heating was off, and breakfast was OK. Otherwise, the stay was a disappointment. There were no hotel facilities, and there wasn't even a door between the bedroom and bathroom, so there was zero privacy. A power socket was loose, with bare cables coming out. There was a major water leak in the room, but staff did nothing. It left a bad, funky smell and could mean mold later on. This is a one-star hostel, not a three-star hotel.

We had only an entry code, and the email didn't tell us our room number, so it was hard to get in. I called twice to find out the number. There was no toilet in the room, just a shower, so we had to go upstairs to use one. The bed wasn't very comfortable either.

The owners are restoring a beautiful old building that's fallen into disrepair, and from what we saw they're doing a good job. It's still a work in progress. They're very nice and helpful, and breakfast was good. We plan to come back on our next trip.

The facilities are basic, but more than enough. The staff were lovely, the welcome was big, and the price was excellent value. It's not too far to walk to the town centre.

The owner was very friendly, and the place was perfectly adequate, though nothing fancy. There is off-street parking, and a very nice restaurant down the street.
