Our room was on the small side, but worked fine for two, and the staff were really friendly. The location was a big plus, with an easy walk or funiculaire ride to the Gar de Pau and the centre of Place Georges Clemenceau. The square hosts events and is a lovely spot to spend time. Noise could be an issue, though. Young people sometimes gathered in the Plaza until quite late, around 2-3am, playing music very, very loudly. I found sleep pretty challenging as someone sensitive to noise. Still, it was a good experience overall.

The breakfast selection was decent, and the rooms were nice and comfortable, though quite cramped. There's barely room to move around. One person can manage, unless you were planning to do Yoga in there. The real draw is the location, right in the city centre, opposite the fountains, with a fantastic view. You can explore the centre and get back to the hotel quickly. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms are a little dated, but clean and with a certain charm. The location on Pau’s main square is beautiful, and the staff were amazing. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm back in Pau.

It's in the best location, but remember this is a two-star place and it's very old. Keep your expectations low.

Could do with an update, but it was a cosy, warm and welcoming hotel. The staff were great and friendly, and it's right in the middle of Pau.
