COMO Cordeillan‑Bages

For a peaceful break with friends, a romantic getaway, or both, I'd recommend this place. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. It was a really special experience, and I think you'll be pleased with your stay.

The hotel team went out of their way to arrange winery and restaurant bookings, and the service really felt five-star. We even got a complimentary visit and tasting at Château Lynch-Bages, which is owned by the same family. Our spacious, comfortable room looked onto the pleasant inner garden. Breakfast cost extra and seemed expensive for what was offered, though having it beside the vineyards made up for some of that. The staff welcomed us warmly to this beautiful Relais & Châteaux amid the Bordeaux vineyards. What a dream location. Congratulations to the whole team.

We'd booked a couple of chateau tours in advance, and the staff did a great job filling out the rest of our plans with useful suggestions. They even called to confirm our restaurant reservations. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and everything was handled exceptionally well. We couldn't have been happier.

Dinner at the restaurant was the standout for us: inventive, original food, a spot-on wine pairing, and service that was attentive without laying it on too thick. Breakfast was a generous feast but still felt restrained. The hotel itself has that same tasteful, understated feel. Staff helped us plan several winery visits. Our room was simple and comfortable, though the bathroom felt quite dated. We did appreciate the nice outdoor area attached to it, overlooking the lush central garden. Cordeillan Bages is a wonderful place.
