We came away disappointed rather than relaxed. For what a four-star stay costs, we expected a much higher standard of service and professionalism. The biggest stress came at departure: the hotel had mixed up our flight and transfer times. We checked the details the day before and might otherwise have missed our flight. On the morning itself, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. She couldn't clearly explain the transfer, spoke sharply and irritably, and was dismissive. Eventually, visibly frustrated, she sent us to the transfer manager instead of helping us properly. Arrival was poor too. This was our first Club Med stay, and nobody was waiting for us at the airport. We spent a long time trying to find the transfer. At check-in, reception was unfriendly and gave us no explanation of the hotel, its rules, activity bookings, or how things worked at the resort. We had to work it all out ourselves day by day, and staff seemed little interested in making us comfortable. The room was spacious, but looked out onto a large pile of snow in the courtyard, and the sink drained badly. We were also surprised there were no bathrobes or even basic disposable slippers at this price. At the spa, slippers were available only under certain conditions, which felt needlessly complicated. On our first day we were told the wrong start time for our children's ski group, so we missed it. They brought an instructor back only after we complained, and my child's level wasn't properly assessed. The resort clearly caters to French speakers. Most children's activities and communications were in French, which was uncomfortable for those of us who don't speak it. The entertainment and kids' club also felt basic. At one point, staff handled my child in a way that upset her. They apologized, but it shouldn't have happened. The location and ski slopes are very good, and the food was really good.

The ski locker room is right by the lift and gondola, and the ski-in/ski-out location is great. I spent a week here with friends, and if you've done a Club Med ski holiday before, you know the kind of daily fun itinerary, great service, food, and drinks to expect. Vinney in the boutique was lovely to chat with and helped me get my newest "45" shirts. Looking forward to my next CM!

The Christmas Eve celebration was pure magic, with Santa arriving, champagne flowing, and spectacular fireworks. The entertainment all week was brilliantly planned and next level. Après-ski at the departure area felt like a party every day, almost like La Folie Douce. Even with the busy Christmas crowds, service was smooth, attentive, and flawless. We’ve stayed at lots of Club Meds, but Peisey Vallandry was the best by far and went beyond what we expected. The ski-in/ski-out spot is unbeatable, with direct access to Peisey, La Plagne, and Les Arcs and their stunning slopes. The ESF team was outstanding, and a special 🫶 to Richard (Group 2B), who helped me improve both my skiing and my French. The food was exceptional, with healthy choices alongside indulgent and luxurious ones. We had foie gras, oysters, and premium seafood on many nights. Bar service was lightning fast and friendlier than most cash bars. Huge thanks to Chef de Village Marco and his passionate, well-coordinated team for a fun, unforgettable, seamless vacation. We can't wait to come back next season!

The facilities and room are quite nice, but the welcome and attention to young children have been disappointing so far. We're still here, so I hope the experience improves. The team seemed poorly coordinated, with conflicting information about when our room would be available. After 4pm, we had to go to the desk ourselves to find out it was ready. We took our child to the room for a nap, then at 4:40 pm they called to say it was ready. Pretty convenient timing if you want to wake him up.

We were there for a week. The hotel is good and the rooms are great, but the way the employees act friendly felt unprofessional to us. Friends' children who used the kids' club complained about the G.O.'s, saying they used words like "shut up" and "bro," and sometimes gave the middle finger. That's unacceptable.
