We had a great stay with the family. The place is set beside a farm with sheep, and it has the basics covered: plates, cutlery, a fridge and a washing machine. Just bring food to cook or eat. It feels more like renting a house, with a staff member there to help; an older lady welcomed us.

The bedroom and bathroom were very clean, with nothing to complain about. The toilet out on the landing does bring to mind a Formula 1 hotel, though. The lady who runs the cottage is quite elderly, but everything went smoothly when we interacted with her, and she deserves a lot of respect for looking after a place like this. It's well situated for a stop in the Bay of Somme, with countryside around and the coast not far away.

Everything was spotless, from the bathroom and floor to the bedding and linens. The decor feels a little gloomy, but the place is quiet and works well for a short stay.

The setting is lovely, and Saint-Valery is only a short walk away. The room was clean, comfortable, and as described. The reception, though, was really lacking and felt almost bizarre. I agree with the other comments about that.

We were four, and the room and bedding were very good. There wasn't much privacy because the mezzanine is open, and the welcome wasn't especially warm, though the person was quite accommodating. The setting is pleasant. Seems ideal for a one-night stay while visiting the region and spending an evening.
