Gilles is an accomplished tango dancer and teacher, and sharing the magical world of this legendary dance was a real treat. The lady of the house looked after breakfast and invited me to evening pétanque games, which I’ll always remember for their charming Provençal feel. I received a wonderful welcome at the villa from exceptional hosts who were always ready to help, and they were such entertaining, engaging company too.

The room was comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and the terraces were wonderful. Gilles also impressed us with how much he knows about botany. He welcomed us so warmly and was very attentive, with little croissants and fresh bread in the morning. The riverbanks are right there, making for a lovely bike ride into the center of Périgueux. Thanks, Gilles, for a wonderful stay!
