The staff were super friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the room was a pleasant surprise: small but functional, without the bad smell from the corridor and lift. It had clean towels and sheets, a TV, warm shower water, and soap, which was all we needed on the road. We stayed one night while driving home from vacation, and the hotel was a convenient stop near the city center. It's an older place with smelly common areas. Private parking costs 5 euros, but in the end it isn't much different from parking on the street. I might choose ibis styles next time, just as my personal preference, but this budget hotel is still good value for the price, and I'd recommend it.

We had a central location and very nice, friendly staff for our one-night stay with two rooms for our family of four. Getting the second room at 50% off was nice. The breakfast was good, though basic; I missed having eggs, at least as an option. The butter was too hard to spread, so I wouldn't keep it in the fridge at breakfast time. The rooms had the basics: double beds, with a bunk above if you're three, air conditioning, a small desk and chair, a TV, and a small bathroom. There isn't much room for clothes, but we didn't need more for one night. With three people over several nights, I can see it getting crowded.

This room could've been straight out of Return of the Living Dead, Saw, or the movie 1408. The worst place I'd been before had crosses hanging in the room, but this one topped it. I was glad I was exhausted after a long drive, because it felt like the kind of place where you go to sleep and never wake up, LOL. It was a midnight stop. The funny part was that the receptionist offered free coffee the next day, but charged me 2.50 for juice and a madeleine. Black coffee was the only free item. Priceless.

The room was basic but clean, with everything we needed for one night, and the bed was comfy. It was an easy walk to the old town's shops, bars, and restaurants. The staff were friendly.
