Staff were courteous and efficient, and the room was comfortable, tidy, and well maintained after a long trip. The dining options were good quality and more than adequate for an overnight stop. Holiday Inn Perpignan by IHG worked very well for our one-night stay on the way to Spain. Its practical location made arrival and departure straightforward. A solid, dependable option for comfort, service, and convenience when passing through.

We couldn't sleep because the room got too hot, and when we called reception again in the middle of the night, they couldn't do anything. There were four of us in the room, so it warmed up quickly. When we arrived in July, staff explained that the air conditioning was on eco mode and couldn't lower the temperature any further, even though the website says rooms have air conditioning. If the air conditioning can't provide cool air in summer, that should be stated on the website.

The hotel was okay overall, but two things bothered me. The fries in the restaurant were soggy and tasted like they'd been cooked in burned oil 🤬 Also, the listed charging station was just a regular household outlet rated at 3.4 kWh, so you need to bring your own cable. A non-electric car was parked in the charging spot, and reception didn't respond.

We’ll stay here again on our next trip to Spain. The breakfast was good, with eggs and sausages, and the rooms felt bigger than the usual Holiday Inn Express rooms. Parking is spacious and free. It’s easy to walk downtown from here, and the highway isn’t far away either. I’d definitely recommend it.

Clean, good value, and the service was good, with all the amenities you’d expect. The room got very hot, though, so I had to open the windows. I see this in hotels often, and it feels uncomfortable for guests and wasteful with energy.
