The breakfast was great, and there's a lovely open area for eating or relaxing outside your room. Hot boiled water is available in the lobby, along with a cold water dispenser. The rooms are clean, with good shower pressure and USB ports. Staff are efficient, friendly and helpful, and they also serve at the bar, so you see them beyond check-in. I really liked the green initiatives. If you choose not to have your bedding changed, after two nights each occupant gets a free drink voucher for every following night. I've never had that happen at an Accor hotel. At a recent hotel we stayed nine nights and asked for the bedding not to be changed, since we're eco-conscious and very clean. Towels can also be left unchanged, as we do at home for a couple of days. We're frequent Accor members, and this was the first time on this trip, which has lasted over a month so far, that we received a Welcome amenities pack with a handwritten note. Thank you Valentin. We were also upgraded to a larger room. Nothing to fault, and I highly recommend the Accor programme.

The hotel itself was nice and the stay was decent, so I'd give it 4 stars mainly for that. Breakfast was very good and the staff friendly. The clean rooms are a bit small, the air con worked but was weak, and the bed was a little hard.

The patio is clean and pleasant, and a nice place to meet other guests. Inside, the bar and reception are trendy, with fabulous staff. The basic rooms are clean and very quiet. Breakfast is simple but good, and the coffee machine is available without limit in a peaceful dining area. It's central and close to amenities and city attractions. I'd definitely recommend it for a short break.

The fifth-floor corridor has uneven, heavily stained floors, and on one occasion I tried the stairs but found the door closed, even though it was marked as an emergency exit. That's a safety hazard and upper management should look into it. The staff were extremely friendly, and the bedrooms clean. The Accord member discount is significant, around 10 euros below the regular price. Breakfast had a good range for a budget hotel, including detox water and plenty of fruit. The edible jam cups were entertaining and tasty, though I wish there had been gluten-free options.
