It was a comfortable place, and easy to reach from the train and bus stations, just a six-minute walk down the street facing the train station. I arrived a little late because of transport problems. The owner was grumpy and said I had no reservation, even though I did and had paid. He said I hadn't replied to his email confirming my arrival, but I had no internet after crossing the border from Spain into France, so I couldn't open my emails. He let me in using my key and the front door code. I never saw them again, and had to leave my key in the room when I left because there is no reception.

Everything was fine. The clean apartment is quite close to the railway station. There's no elevator, but it's only one flight of stairs. One room has a double bed, and the other has a bed as well. The kitchen has facilities including a refrigerator.

Really friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient, and the room was comfortable with plenty of space. The shared bathroom was nice, and it was good value.

The rooms vary a lot in quality. My colleague's room was adequate, but I got a child's room that was impossible to heat in the middle of winter. There weren't even duvets, just wool blankets that felt neither hygienic nor comfortable. We didn't feel safe at all. The neighborhood is isolated and not in the best part of town, and there was nobody to greet us, just all the keys on a board. The rooms use standard keys, and any closet door can open them. You'd better be the only group staying in the house. Absolutely avoid this place.
