Les Bassans is a lovely hotel and restaurant, with exceptional, attentive staff and a beautiful, chic finish. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My one criticism is the checkout. The woman there made us feel odd for not adding a tip, and that left us uncomfortable and slightly spoiled our impression of the hotel and the group. We were asked to add 10% to the whole hotel bill, which shocked us. My husband and I have traveled the world and have never been asked for a tip like that, especially after we'd already tipped generously for all our meals and services. It's an expensive stay, and in France hotel and restaurant staff are paid fairly with a living wage, so asking us to pay even more felt confusing and unwelcome. I'd strongly suggest that Fontenille Collection reassess this very untoward practice.

The service was pleasant, professional, relaxed, and attentive. Lunch was fabulous, with a very special starter and main course, both fresh, healthy, and imaginatively presented. It was nice to be able to choose just two courses, though I'm sure pudding would have been delicious too.

We were traveling with our dog, and the hosts kindly provided everything he needed, which was a lovely touch. The recently renovated property is beautifully done, with attention to detail. Our spacious, bright room was spotlessly clean and had breathtaking sea views. Waking up to the ocean right in front of us was priceless. Les Bassans is right by the sea in the heart of Perros-Guirec, yet peaceful and quiet, and just a short walk from the town center and the beautiful beaches of the Pink Granite Coast. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive. A dream stay in Brittany, and we can't wait to come back!

We booked a table on 18/06/2025, the day the kitchen opened, by coincidence, and had no complaints. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and portions were good. Prices felt more than fair for the quality. The view across the coast was amazing, and the service was very kind. The aperitif selection was quite limited because they had just started, but acceptable, while the wine list was fully available. The hotel and restaurant, formerly Manoir du Sphinx, have been renovated and given a new look. Parking was limited due to road works, but that's only temporary. Book ahead and enjoy it.

We only went to dinner at Les Bassans and didn't stay at the hotel. The meal was okay. What really stands out is the setting: the restaurant view is spectacular, and the dining room is nicely decorated with a cozy feel. The bar and restaurant architecture is the main attraction. Staff were attentive, friendly, and professional.
