A water-bottle filling station would give travelers an easy way to use less plastic.

The owners and staff took such care of us that our 12-day stay in June 2023, celebrating 60 years since we met, couldn’t have gone better. The meals were superb, and breakfast felt like a banquet, with attentive service from the moment we arrived. Our small suite was designed like a luxurious ship’s cabin, minus the motion. It looks out across a wonderful bay dotted with yachts and small cruisers. The hotel is in a lovely spot, and the service was hard to fault. I’ve stayed in French hotels for about 1500 nights through work, traveling there twice a month when I was working, and I can honestly say this is probably the best one I’ve stayed in in France. Well done, hotel des Rochers! I’d love to return, though at around 80, we may not have enough time.

We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful, especially since our French isn’t very good. Our clean, spacious room was nicely decorated and had its own patio looking out over the sea. The room faced the water, and the hotel’s setting is beautiful. I highly recommend staying here.

This is our favorite small hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast, and the restaurant food was very good. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with excellent showers, and the welcome was friendly. There are lovely views of the little port. If you can, get a sea-view room, and book the restaurant ahead.
