Area Residence

The staff were really courteous and there whenever I called for help. I don’t speak French, so I was anxious at first, but the caretaker spoke English and helped me a lot. I felt welcome even so far from home. It’s peaceful being away from the town centre, with plenty of parking and a bus stop nearby. The train station is 2.2 km away. Wi-Fi was excellent. There’s also a gym and barbecue, though I didn’t try either, and paid laundry service. I stayed for two weeks on a work visit and loved the room. It had huge cupboards, plenty of space for clothes, and a good-sized refrigerator that would be enough for two people. The shared kitchen was spacious, with three sets of hot plates or induction stoves, four sinks, a sponge and washing-up liquid, a microwave, and a few utensils. I brought my own utensils, so that was fine. The bathrooms and toilets were very clean and well maintained, with shower gel and shampoo, and hot water was always available. The bed felt good at first, though a little off later. The blankets were very comfortable, and I slept like a baby!

We were left outside our room because the lock was jammed, and nobody came to fix it. This place shocked us. It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Don’t ever go here.

I liked the vibe here. They’re developing the hotel in a good way.

The room is clean and cheap, and it has a kitchenette plus a toilet with a shower. It just isn’t very spacious.
