After a long drive, we arrived in the evening to find no hot water. There’d been a water shutoff earlier that day, so maybe that explained the initial problem, but there was still none the next morning and we had to take cold showers. Surely the system could have heated enough water in eight hours? We also couldn’t check in at the hotel for reasons that were poorly explained. We had to haul ourselves to the Ibis Styles and wait 40 minutes to do it there, as if we’d simply missed check-in time. The whole trip put me off Ibis Budget. Not having eggs at breakfast was the last straw.

Breakfast was top, and the place worked perfectly for a cycling stay. Simple, but clean.

Just an average one-night stay. The hallway outside the rooms smelled bad, and the breakfast buffet had very few choices. Wouldn’t recommend 😕🙁☹️

It was just what I wanted, as always. We had dinner at the IBIS style next door, and both the food and service were excellent. Recommended.
