The front door lets in a draft and takes a lot of effort to shut. Out on the terrace, almost every tile is broken, with artificial turf laid over part of it to hide the damage. There are major repairs overdue. The roof leaks, so when rain is in the forecast, the owner puts old towels in the living room. The wallpaper is visibly peeling from the ceiling in that spot, and it looks like mold may already be there. A bathroom door slammed shut in a gust of wind, and a neighbor had to use tools to open it.

The welcome was excellent, and the setting feels idyllic, with two magnificent mountain ranges surrounding the place. It's also close to Aix and Peynier.
