We arrived in the stifling heat hoping to swim, but the condition of the pool and the rest of the place put us off completely. It was a wasted weekend, and we feel ripped off. We asked for some compensation, but the owner refused. We won’t return or recommend it. The property looks very pretty and is decorated beautifully, but it wasn’t cared for and didn’t match the photos. The pool was muddy and dirty, the jacuzzi cover dusty, and cobwebs covered the outdoor furniture. Mold stained the garden furniture and the fabric on the four-poster bed. There were no sheets, only a bedspread covered in dog hair. The toilet had no seat, the oven door was broken, and a big wasp nest was on the front door. We raised the pool issue politely. The owner said it was a planted pool and suggested we try removing the stains ourselves. She eventually came over and did a quick skim with a net, then ran the robot for 10 minutes. It was already much better afterward. Still, it’s shameful to charge €400 for one night when the place is in this condition.

The kitchen could use a few basics, like paper towels, a dish towel, small spoons and a trash can. Those little things would make it feel complete. Otherwise, our night in the “Bali house” with our two children was fantastic. It was very clean and well laid out, and both the pool and jacuzzi were incredible. We’ll definitely come back.

The layout and location are unusual, but they don’t quite meet expectations, and getting there is very inconvenient. I hope the owners keep working on things, as they seem to want to improve. The room also had too many decorative items, including baskets and Buddha statues, leaving very little space for our belongings. There was no shower gel or hand soap, and we got just one bath towel, with no small towel for hands. The bed setup was especially uncomfortable. Many of the pillowcases seemed to lack removable covers for washing, which felt unhygienic. A plastic sheet between the fitted sheet and mattress creaked whenever we moved, all night long. It was horrible.

The Bali House room felt like a little paradise. It’s a perfect tiny house, with a small heated plunge pool in a lagoon style and a jacuzzi. We were warmly welcomed, and it made for a wonderful getaway. We’ll definitely do it again. Thanks to our hosts.
