The welcome was warm, and the chalet was close to the shops, with plenty to explore around the area. Inside, it was comfortable and had all the kitchen and household equipment we needed. The rooms were spacious enough even for two very tall adults, between 1.88m and 2m, and the beds were comfortable.

There’s greenery and a terrace here, and the chalets are only a few minutes on foot from the town center for everyday shopping. They’re clean and quiet, with everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. We’ll come back for more hikes. I recommend Chalets de l'Aubrac as a place to stay on holiday.

The village was really pleasant, even in winter, and the chalet had no unwelcome surprises. I liked the underfloor heating, and the bedrooms are upstairs in this pretty chalet. The one small issue was the double bed, which was 140cm and rock hard. We were told it was due to be replaced, so we’ll see.

We had a nice stay, but arrived to dirty floors, crumbs on the chairs, and an unclean bathroom with hair in the shower tray. We reported the lack of cleaning and got only “we’ll pass on the information” in response. It’s unbelievable to have to clean when you arrive, then pay for end-of-stay cleaning with no compensation. The management knew about the issue. Such a shame.
