Chambres d'hôtes du Moulin

This isn't a mill, despite the name. It's a purpose-built B&B that's still a work in progress in 2019/20. It's on Mill Road, but there aren't any mills, just the remains of old windmills. My room was very clean and the Wi-Fi was good, but none of the plug points worked. The female owner was friendly. Her husband didn't have breakfast ready at the time he'd offered, and at 08.10 I was told not to speak because other guests were still sleeping. That was a first for me, and it made me wonder about the soundproofing, though I hadn't heard a thing from the other guests. I wasn't pleased to be told to keep quiet, especially since the guests who came after me weren't told that. Breakfast was simple. The coffee was strong and bitter, so you'll need to like it that way.

Sebastian's service was great throughout. The little village is lovely, and there's a great little pub there too. I didn't eat at the pub, but the food looked good.

A really nice host, and the place has a calm, relaxed feel to it. Stephane made us feel welcome.

The location is great, and the rooms are roomy, spotless, and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious too.
