The best accommodation in the region: peaceful, good quality, and worth the price.

For €1200 over a weekend, I expected the basics to be covered. There were 13 of us in a house meant for 20, yet we ran short of hot water for everyone’s showers. We got just one dishwasher tablet, two toilet rolls and two dish towels. The barbecue had no legs and sat at ground level, which made it impractical, especially for a group. The ping-pong table was stashed in a shed, and the games room was tucked away upstairs, so neither was much use. At these prices, the bedrooms should have 160 cm queen-size beds. Watch out for the dangerously low beams in the hallway to the bedrooms. It’s a large house, but I can’t name a single positive. We had a very bad stay and won’t return.

The house was large, but its amenities let us down. We were twelve friends for a weekend, and the company was the only saving grace. By evening there was no hot water, the bathroom felt dated, and the kitchen was oddly placed in the entrance and very basic. The barbecue had a rusty grill and no stand. Tourists and travelers, steer clear. What a disappointment, Margot. We won’t be back, Margot.

We couldn’t even eat on the terrace as a group unless we were 12 or fewer, despite the house sleeping 20. The barbecue was old, with broken legs, leaving it only 30 cm off the ground. The kitchen was rudimentary, and the owner was completely inflexible. We’re about fifteen friends and usually rent this kind of house, but the disappointment was universal. For such a high price, the amenities are basic. There’s no hot water in the evening, so remember to shower in the morning. Avoid this place, there are many better options elsewhere.
