Camping la Garenne

We spent a lovely weekend in a beautiful chalet, and the owners were lovely. Even in winter, the campsite felt peaceful. It's clean, welcomes dogs, and has swings and other play equipment for children. The forest setting is wonderful: we heard an owl at night and spotted a deer in the nearby woods. The pool must be lovely in summer, and the location works well for trips to the Lascaux caves or Brive-la-Gaillarde.

We came in the fall, with rainy weather before the storm, and our rental was clean and tucked away. The natural surroundings are lovely, with a beautiful view. The campsite itself is pretty, quiet, clean, and very well kept. The owner was so pleasant and deserves recognition. I recommend it.

The full breakfast arrived discreetly each morning, and we had a wonderful weekend in a peaceful wooden chalet surrounded by trees. The Vézère Valley and Terrasson-Lavilledieu, including its old town, are a short distance away, along with plenty of other magical places. This campsite is well worth discovering. Thanks again.

The manager made us feel welcome even though we arrived late, and there was an evening event by the pool. It's a small, family-run campsite with all the essentials, including a bar and little grocery store. The pool is lovely and the restrooms are clean. I recommend it!
