Merci Mr Xavier ! When we needed somewhere to stay for a week, he kindly offered us his best mobile home, with a big terrace overlooking the river. We had a great time there. The owners of the restaurant next door are very kind, and the pizza is good. I’d highly recommend this campsite for families.

We paid 15€ per person for one of the worst meals of our two-month trip. The burger buns were burnt, and the fries were undercooked, with green bits that made it look like the potatoes had already gone bad. The service took my knife away for no reason, too. There’s a small playground nearby, and we weren’t the only ones letting a little child play there. What a disappointing place.

Xavier was friendly and quick to respond, and at breakfast he shared a few interesting stories about the island. The place is quiet and clean, with new furniture and lovely views, about 20 minutes from Corte. The bathroom was huge, and everything felt comfortable.

There are plenty of pleasant shady spots to pitch a tent beside the lovely river, and the staff were friendly. You can use the freezer for free. The pool is basic but fine, though I didn’t try the bar or restaurant. The washrooms are average, but the hot water is seriously hot. Small annoyances: there are no lights at the dishwashing area, and it’s dark everywhere at night. There were also a hell of a lot of ants.
