We checked in early without any trouble. The place is very nice and just a couple of minutes from the village, off the A20.

We ended up staying an extra day because it was too hot to travel, 35 +, and were glad we did. The solstice/fete du musique was great. The rooms are comfortable, and although the pool is on the small side, it was lovely on a hot day. It's just off the A20, with quiet, effective air conditioning. Lunch and breakfast were excellent.

The food is superb, and the staff are warm and welcoming. It's right off the motorway, with facilities that are second to none. Everything about this hotel feels perfect. It should be rated 5 star!!

We'd always said we'd stop someday at this “village étape” in Pierre Buffiere, which we'd spotted from the highway just south of Limoges. The view from there looks like a postcard, or a frame from a master painter's work. We couldn't book a room for the night, but they kindly welcomed us for dinner without a reservation. The restaurant's decor fits the village's beautiful style, and we had a lovely table and great service. There's also a garden terrace with tables that can be covered quickly if it rains, plus a pool!!! We'd like to come back and stay more than one night…

The staff were friendly, and we had a wonderful family meal, with delicious food and a great setting and atmosphere. They could also provide my daughter with a three course meal for her coeliac needs. I'd highly recommend this place.
