Château de Pierreclos

Leonnie made our visit memorable. She was kind and knew a great deal about the wines that used to be made and aged at the chateau. She also explained the chateau's history and showed us around. My family and I came for a wine tasting and had a lovely time. I'd highly recommend it, and hope to come back for a short stay sometime.

The room was beautiful, luxurious and sweet all at once, and everything felt top standard. We only booked one night at castle, Pierreclos while traveling through France, but we wished we'd stayed longer. The castle and its surroundings are breathtaking, with a lovely atmosphere. On arrival, we enjoyed a wine tasting and took a swim in the pool. We'd ordered a PICNIC BASKET in advance, and had our food and wine in the peaceful garden. In the morning we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who served us a fantastic breakfast. The breakfast hall was beautiful and the food was amazing. We loved it all. Email communication was excellent, and the staff were super friendly. We'd love to stay longer next time we're back in France.

The medieval chapel was a lovely bonus, and the wine tasting was wonderful. We got the picnic basket and enjoyed it overlooking the beautiful landscape. This Burgundy treasure made our anniversary celebration special. I only wish we'd had more time there.

The peach and blackcurrant liqueur was a particularly nice surprise, and the wines we sampled were exceptional, each showing off Burgundy's renowned terroir. During our 2025 Wine Trip to Chablis and Burgundy, our visit to Chateau de Pierreclos was a real highlight. We also enjoyed hearing about the estate's fascinating history and heritage. The chateau's setting is stunning, with picturesque surroundings. A memorable visit with beautiful scenery, intriguing history, and delicious wines. We'd highly recommend Chateau de Pierreclos to anyone wanting to experience Burgundy's charm and elegance.
