The cabin for two was clean, and the pool was fine. For the price, though, I expected a mini-fridge. A little kitchen would be a big plus as well. It’s just over an hour from Saint Tropez and about 30 minutes from the nearest beach. The campsite seems to be expanding successfully, and I can see it growing over the next 2-3 years.

A friendly welcome, a lovely pool and a peaceful campsite in the middle of Provence. It’s well placed for trips to Porquerolles’ beaches, the Verdon Gorge and the regional natural parks. There’s a gourmet restaurant right on site that’s not to be missed, plus excellent pizza nearby. A must-try!

We come back here regularly for the friendly staff and family feel. The pool is great in summer, although the slide is often shut because some holidaymakers don’t follow the rules. Our spot was far from the entrance, which suited us, and mobile home pitch 21 was great: dishes and linens for six, an effective mosquito lamp, air conditioning, TV and games for the kids. Check what’s included with your own pitch, as the campsite is being renovated and updated. We had two power cuts, each leaving us without air conditioning for an hour. The restaurant is excellent, with tapas, desserts and music. The beach is 15-20 minutes away. Check on local activities before heading out, since some trails may close for fire risk, and COVID means you have to look farther from the campsite for things to do. We’ll be back in 2-3 years, hopefully to a fantastic campsite and no COVID.
