The room looks out onto beautiful, lush greenery, and the place is very quiet and discreet. We hope to return in summer and make use of the barbecue 😉

The owner’s behavior was rude, arrogant, and completely inappropriate for a hospitality setting. I’ve traveled a lot and have never been met with such an unwelcoming, confrontational attitude. It went well beyond poor service and basic courtesy. We were told when we arrived that all the amenities, including the garden jacuzzi, were available. Later, when we tried to use it, the owner confronted us aggressively and disrespectfully, saying it wasn’t for us. There had been no warning or sign about that. The facilities information is plainly misleading. If clear communication, honesty, and respectful treatment matter to you, stay elsewhere. Plenty of places treat guests like people instead of an inconvenience.

At check-in we were told we could use the whole garden, but the owner later came over shouting and called us liars. He said we were breaking rules, though we hadn’t broken any, and kept screaming at us. He also mocked my boyfriend for being tall, saying, “because you are a big boy you will act like this.” Then he called the police. The police said we were right, but we left anyway because we no longer felt safe. Worst experience ever. They aren’t honest at all, and the owner is really crazy.

My husband and I came here to reset after a family holiday, and we’ll definitely be back. The patio and jacuzzi under the stars felt like a little bit of heaven, and the bed was AMAZING. Everything was so clean, the floors looked clean enough to eat off. Breakfast was lovely, and there’s a duck called Canardo, some chickens, and several cats. The garden is beautiful and welcoming, a little wild with flowers, trees, and bees. Vineyards are only a few steps away. It was a lovely mix of countryside and nature with just enough pampering to leave us refreshed and ready for work the next day. The staff were welcoming and friendly despite some reservation issues through airbnb. I was tempted to leave a negative review so the place would stay available, but that wouldn’t have been fair.
