Brisk, enthusiastic service, and the prices were reasonable too. The setting between the little quayside and the river looks out over a sandy beach, a lovely place that does you good. It's a proper traditional Corsican family restaurant where locals eat, with excellent fresh fish. Speaking a little French helps.

We sat on the lovely terrace for half an hour, but nobody served us, so we left 😉.

The anchovies we had to start were decent, though they tasted as if they came from a jar. Last year, the mussels were the best we'd had on our trip, but this visit was a letdown. The restaurant has gone downhill and isn't close to what it used to be. The Filet de Poisson du Jour didn't seem to be fresh fish, and it was so dry it might have been frozen. At €24, it was completely overpriced. It seems the owners may have changed. Such a shame.

The mulberry trees and a nice sea breeze keep the place cool even when it's hot. It's a lovely, family-friendly spot where locals and tourists both come. There's plenty of food, and the homemade tiramisu deserves a special mention.

The ribeye was huge, tender, and perfectly grilled, pink in the middle. Service was really friendly, and the location right by the surf was great. Highly recommended!
