Hôtel Des Trois Hiboux

The rooms have lovely views and private terraces, each with its own little chalet feel, and there’s direct access to the park. The hotel is surprisingly fancy and absolutely wonderful. Sheep wander freely in some areas, and there’s a good games room and bar. The bathrooms are excellent too. Definitely worth booking meals here.

The breakfast was disappointing and nothing special, while lunch was just okay. For what the hotel and its services cost, I expected more, especially from the food. The staff were very kind and the service was very good. Our room was cold at first, but they fixed it a few hours later. The hotel itself is very nice.

We had a lovely one-night stay with two adults and our 8-year-old in a double room. Ours had a queen bed and a fan; the other room seemed a bit too warm. There’s plenty for kids to do indoors and outside, including badminton, table tennis, and other activities, and they loved the ice cream. The online dinner buffet was very good, with fresh large shrimp, fruit, and lots of vegetables, so we were happy with it. I’d suggest booking the hotel, park entry, and dinner buffet together. Skip ordering sandwiches or hamburgers online for the park: food is easy to buy all around, and online orders send you to specific shops, some of which are closed.

The evening buffet let us down, with poor service and hot food that wasn’t cooked very well, so we ate in the park on our second night. But the stay itself was really enjoyable. The rooms are tucked among the trees, with balconies and a separate sleeping space for children. Beds were comfortable and nights were quiet. We loved the breakfast buffet and would definitely stay again.
