A good stop for food and a drink, especially popular with people out riding or hiking. The food and drinks were good quality, and the coffee was brilliant. Prices were reasonable, the facilities were clean, and parking was easy. I’d recommend it.

The owner was incredibly welcoming and answered all our questions about the local wildlife, including explaining the wolves and foxes in the area. After hiking up the Col du Bonhomme, we stopped here and could still get a typical hot meal at 3 pm. Then we had a huge choice of desserts, including lemon meringue pie, flan, blueberries, plums, tiramisu, rum baba, and more.

Before setting off on a long 4-hour drive, my husband and I had lunch at the Relais Vosges - Alsace after a wonderful weekend in Turkheim and Riquewihr. What a nice surprise. We shared a rich, generous soup, then he had the Munster quiche, which was delicious. I went for fries, perfectly crispy and plump, with two knackwurst sausages. I’d missed those! Dessert was lovely too, lemon meringue pie and custard tart. Everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and pleasant. I really don’t understand some of the negative reviews. You’d have to be very picky, or a bit too self-important. We’ll gladly come back to the Relais on our next trip to Alsace. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

The table service was very quick, no complaints there, but the meal was not good at all. The meat was very dry, almost tough, and the glasses were dirty, with lipstick marks and white streaks. It doesn’t deserve 4 stars.
