F1 Plaisir Hotel

The online photos showed a bathtub, but the room we got had only a tiny, uncomfortable bathroom with no proper facilities. There were no towels, the bedsheets were dirty, and the walls looked old and badly kept. We asked staff several times to change the sheets and got no help. The stay was disappointing and nearly spoiled our vacation. It wasn't worth the price, and I wouldn't recommend the place unless cleanliness and service improve a lot.

We booked a room and found it had no air conditioning, although several websites said it did. We were also charged twice for the same stay, once in April and again in July when we were due to stay. After many, many emails and back and forth with an elusive “manager,” there was no real response or attempt to resolve it. We still hadn't received a refund, including for the room's false advertising, so we began a formal complaint with the authorities in our country and our credit card provider. After the ownership replied below, management said the refund was being processed. As of August 3rd, we still had no money back, and “management” had stopped replying again. It seems like they're just making fun of us. We went ahead and are working on the matter with the Italian police and card company. I strongly suggest extreme caution before booking. Worst treatment and experience ever.

The check-in was smooth, and the service was amazing. The food was fresh, and I really enjoyed the tasty breakfast with its nice variety. Very, very, very nice. One of the best stays I've had in a long time, and the hotel exceeded our expectations and made the stay more enjoyable.

The location was amazing and made it really convenient to get around the city. We had been a little concerned by earlier reviews about cleanliness, but our room was clean and everything turned out better than expected. The service was super friendly too.
