Residence Ker Goh Lenn - Vacancéole

We lost our reservation and paid €240 for nothing. We’d told the hotel in advance that heavy rain and traffic might make us a little late, but when we arrived just 10 minutes behind schedule, they bluntly said they “have their own lives” and couldn’t allow a late check-in. They offered no help or alternatives. We understand schedules matter, but a little flexibility and basic courtesy would have made a huge difference when the delay was beyond our control. We hope the hotel reconsiders how it treats guests in these situations.

The sofa bed wasn’t comfortable, and we were given a long list of instructions about where to leave the bedding, towels, rubbish and so on. It was a lot of hassle. Ten days later, there was still no sign of my deposit being refunded. The rates seem cheap, but after booking, they tell you they’ll keep a €300 deposit. Don’t fall into the trap of booking this place.

Nice place, good Wi-Fi in the rooms, and friendly staff. The only issue was the swimming pool, which was very cold and shallow.

Very basic, and poor value for money. I wouldn’t stay here again.
