Chambres d'Hôtes de la Presqu'Île

The studio was spotless, practical, and had everything we needed, and we had a lovely stay. Our host was so kind and full of energy. When my husband needed a test, she arranged for the nurses on site to do it, which really saved our holiday and let us enjoy the rest of our time there. There’s lots to see and do nearby, and a gorgeous beach is only 4 km away. Thanks so much again. We’ll come back!

We really regretted booking this place for a week, even though the host lowered the price at the end. There were sewage smells, and the bathroom and accommodation were dirty when we arrived. Nothing useful was provided for cleaning, not even a vacuum cleaner, and the host did no cleaning during our stay. The facilities weren’t maintained either. The microwave looked ancient, so we weren’t about to use it. We also had no hot water for a day, an unannounced water shutoff, and power cuts. The bathroom setup was awful too, with a tiny shower cubicle in a guest room that had a large bathroom. We’d have gladly paid a bit more for somewhere decent. Strongly advise against staying here.

The welcome was warm, and the setting was calm. Breakfast was generous and excellent. Upstairs, there’s a spacious room with places to read and eat. Prices are reasonable for the quality of service, so I recommend this accommodation.

We had a really nice week at Rose Marie's. Our studio was roomy and peaceful, with a view of the lovely garden. Rose Marie was welcoming, always around when we needed her, and gave us helpful tips. We had a very good stay and would recommend the place.
