We visited L'Abri di Sillon on July 22nd and 23rd, 2023, and it was hard to leave. Charles welcomed my friend and me into his home and helped us sort out dinner. The place feels warm and personal, with art all around, and the garden and vegetable patch are beautifully cared for. Our room had comfortable beds, fresh smelling linens, a roomy shower, and was impeccably clean. Breakfast was a treat too, with delicious organic food, jams in all sorts of flavors, and the best organic yogurt I’ve ever had. The many affectionate thank you notes guests have left in Charles's book say a lot. Highly recommended.

The breakfast was excellent, with fresh bread and 19 jams to pick from. We stayed two nights in a spotless, very comfortable room with new furnishings, soft beds, and a large bathroom. Charles is a passionate and welcoming host. Thanks again for making us feel so welcome. Everything was just right.

We stopped here for one night while hiking the GR34 and felt welcome as soon as we arrived. The owner is warm and especially helpful to hikers passing through. The building is a fully renovated former property in the town center, close to shops. Downstairs there’s a large shared room with a clean, well equipped kitchen for cooking and eating. Our room had three very comfortable single beds, and the bathroom was large and clean. Breakfast was served with care, with local items and plenty of teas and jams. A great place to stay.

Breakfast came with fresh fruit and homemade jam, and there’s a fully equipped kitchen available for making meals or picnic food. The cottage has just been renovated from top to bottom. Our bed was exceptionally comfortable, hotel quality, and the bathroom beat ours at home, especially the shower. Even the bedroom view nearly matched the one from the coastal path. We were pleasantly surprised by how warm and accommodating the welcome was.

Charles was thoughtful, kind, and ready to help with our requests, as well as offering useful advice. The cottage was relaxing and so comfortable, with a kitchen that had everything we needed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilet. Breakfast was generous. I highly recommend it.
