The reception room has a piano and books the owner brought back from his many trips abroad, and there are lovely books in the pretty dining room too. Nearby, we found good restaurants, coastal scenery, and beautiful beaches, making this a great base for exploring the Fréhel region. Our room felt almost timeless, with a fireplace, two big armchairs, a small table, fabric-covered high walls, a large bed with spotless bedding, and a spacious bathroom. The manor itself has simple, elegant lines, and the atmosphere is quiet and authentic. The owner is welcoming and clearly believes in what he does. It’s an unusual, lovely place, and we had a wonderful stay.
