We hadn't booked, but the host was welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean, in good condition, spacious and comfortable, with a nice bed and bathroom. Breakfast was just right before our morning hike and the rest of our journey. The area is pleasant, and the town is close enough to go for supplies or a meal. Very good for its category.

A quiet, mellow start to our holiday in the French countryside. We were two teenagers and their mom, and we took a detour on the way to our holiday destination to spend a night at this B&B. We loved it. The host was incredibly kind, the room was super clean, and the beds, pillows included, were absolutely wonderful.

It felt like home right away, with so much space, character, and charm. The place is impeccably clean and very well equipped, and the large shared living areas are lovely. Each bedroom having its own bathroom is a real comfort. The exterior is beautiful too, so you can really enjoy the surroundings. A great spot to gather with family or friends. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return.

The outdoor space is huge and beautifully landscaped, with plenty to do: boules, ping-pong, a barbecue area, a fire pit, sun loungers, and several bicycles we could use. We could also charge our electric car at Jean-Baptiste's place, and he was friendly, helpful, easy to reach, and quick to sort things out. Inside, the house is bright, welcoming, thoughtfully renovated, and high quality. Every room has a large shower or bathtub and its own bathroom, with separate toilets in some rooms. The underfloor heating was especially pleasant. Everything was spotless when we arrived, the beds were comfortable, and we felt at home straight away. The modern kitchen had everything we needed, plus a separate pantry with a second large fridge. We had a wonderful week in this holiday home in the Vosges Mountains and highly recommend it.

There are lots of walks you can reach easily from the gîte, and it's a good base for exploring the area and discovering local products. Jean-Baptiste is responsive and gives great advice. The building has been tastefully renovated, and the bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped, each with its own bathroom. The whole place is well equipped too, and we cooked for 10 people comfortably all week. A great place to remember for winter or summer. We had a lovely week at Jean-Baptiste's gîte.
