The sommelier made this meal stand out. My wife and I have tried wine pairings at a few similar restaurants, and there's usually a glass or two that doesn't quite work with its course. Here, every pairing was spot on. The food was fantastic too, as you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant in a small village near the Crozon peninsula. A couple of things to know: it's a small restaurant, and they ask you to choose your tasting menu several days ahead. The rooms don't have air-conditioning, though they do provide a fan, so that could be uncomfortable in the middle of summer.

The lunch menu was fabulous and worth every penny. Those two Michelin stars are well deserved, and I'd definitely recommend booking a table. One small gripe: the wine by the glass was a bit pricey. Also, it's 2016, so please give women menus with prices.

The meal itself was beautifully presented and delicious, and the little breads and amuse-bouches were a treat. We had a table by the bay window, with the coast visible in the distance. It's quite a surprise to find a Michelin-starred place this far into Finistère, though the modern decor felt rather cold. The menu was somewhat limited, with pigeon breast the only meat option and most of the choices focused on fish and crustaceans, which makes sense here. We also asked for a bottle of Chinon since we don't drink white wine, and the waitress immediately picked the most expensive of the four without giving a particular reason. When we asked for coffee, we got a list of Nespresso capsules. For a meal of this quality, that felt like very little effort, and charging 8€ for a 35 cent capsule seemed incongruous. Those details could be fixed. The experience came close to excellence but needed a final bit of polish. We paid 400€ for two, including wine.

We only had the business lunch, and sadly it wasn't very good. I found the whole thing a bit boring.

Such an exciting experience, and good value for the money. The staff were really friendly too. I absolutely recommend it!
