Logis Hôtel Le Relais De Beaucemaine

We were very happy with our six nights here, travelling with my husband, our four-month-old daughter, and our dog. It was great that dogs were welcome. The room was cleaned daily and the staff were very friendly and approachable. We could communicate with everyone in English without any trouble. They offer cafeteria service and a restaurant for dinner too, although we didn't eat there ourselves and only saw other guests dining. Payment by card, cheque, cash, or Cheques Vacances was accepted. Our room had a comfortable, generously sized bed, a wardrobe, and a spacious bathroom. The bathtub area could use modernising, but it wasn't a serious issue. The garden was large and well kept, with tables and chairs, and space for children to play. The Superior rooms open straight onto it through glazed terraces. Guests can also use a pleasant shared glazed lounge with a fridge, sofas, and a table with chairs. We only tried breakfast on our last day, after another guest recommended it. At €10 per person, it's a buffet with plenty to choose from: orange juice, two kinds of cereal, hot and cold milk, coffee, several teas, lots of crepes with different jams, honey, Nutella, chocolate, sugar, regular and sliced bread for toasting, homemade cake, croissants, Neapolitans, pain au chocolat, chocolatines, yoghurts, apple compote, cold cuts, cheeses, and fruit. You can go back for more as often as you like. The hotel sits in a very quiet area on the outskirts, rather than in town. The nearest bakery or supermarket is a 17-minute walk or a three-minute drive away. In good weather it was a pleasant, level walk with a sidewalk the whole way. I took my dog each morning, and the round trip took about 30 minutes.

The food was excellent, and everything was homemade. We also had access to the common areas. The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful, and the rooms were well equipped. What a lovely find. Bravo!

We stayed one night at the Hôtel de Beaucemaine and found it peaceful and restful. Our comfortable room had a veranda looking out onto the garden. Breakfast was excellent too.

We had a wonderful respite stay with the association Le Relais Atypique. The breakfast was magical, especially the crêpes, and we really enjoyed the property. The welcome, grounds, and helpful staff were all just right. A huge thank you to Céline, Eva, Christelle, and Victor for everything!
