Le Petit Dragon

We came for a long weekend while visiting family and will be back, hopefully for longer. Nicola and Nigel were lovely hosts and knew a lot about places worth seeing. Our en-suite bedroom was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed. There’s also a cosy guest lounge with a superb wood burner in an original stone fireplace, which was especially welcome on a cold November day. The B&B is in a lovely rural setting, but local shops are only a short drive away. Definitely recommend staying here.

The house is in a peaceful hamlet, a good spot to relax, with Dinan only about a 15-minute drive away and Mont St. Michel roughly an hour away. It was lovely staying in such beautiful grounds, and the facilities were excellent, especially the pool. We came as a group of six in August 2017 and enjoyed it enough to have just booked another stay for this year. I’d highly recommend it.

Nicola and Nigel are two superb hosts at this cosy, clean B&B in the country. We stayed in the big family room, which has a log burner and TV. There’s a cute village within walking distance, and with a car we could visit the local towns. There’s loads of parking, plus donkeys in the garden! It works well for a quick stop or a longer stay. Even in the middle of winter there’s plenty to do, so I’d definitely recommend it.

The countryside setting was just right for switching off, and the B&B was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were there with friends and family, and the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. We hired a car to explore nearby. Lunch by the river in Dinan was a highlight, and the crepes in the old town are a must try. We also went to St-Malo and enjoyed the seaside pool there. It’s a great base for getting around. The weather was glorious, so we’d walk to the nearby village in the morning to buy fresh bread before heading off on our adventures. We’ll definitely be back.
