Au Pré Carré

The breakfast was a real treat each morning, beautifully laid out with plenty of bread and pastries, plus a delicious fresh fruit salad. The owner even made crepes with Nutella for our young son one morning. He welcomed us warmly and was always there to answer our questions. We found the stay wonderfully relaxing. The pool and sauna were fantastic, and there’s ample secure parking along with an electric car charger. The WiFi worked very well throughout. Our room was beautiful, spacious, spotless, and so quiet. It had a very comfortable 6ft bed, lots of towels, robes, and slippers. The bathroom was roomy with an excellent shower, and a hairdryer, soap, and shower gel were supplied. The owners have thought of everything to make a stay at Au Pre Carre comfortable. I can’t recommend it highly enough, it really is 5 Star accommodation 😀. We hope to return someday. Merci beaucoup.

The spa was great, and breakfast was delicious. We booked a room for a friend and me and had a wonderful time. It was very quiet, and our room was spacious, lovely, and spotless. We’ll definitely come back.

After a day of walking, it was such a pleasure to unwind in the indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. Robes and slippers were provided, too. The owner was attentive, organized, and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was included and sublime, with sweet and savory choices, homemade French toast from Gérard, and fresh fruit salad. Everything tasted delicious. Our large Flemish cathedral room was tastefully decorated, with a beautiful bathroom, separate toilet, excellent bedding, and a tray with coffee, tea, and herbal teas. The place was perfectly clean and comfortable, in a very quiet countryside setting. The building itself is beautiful and very modern. For this price, it's the best guesthouse we've ever found. We’ll definitely return. Go with your eyes closed, you won't be disappointed. Thank you for such peaceful moments.

We were a group of friends on a walking trip, and this place was ideally situated on the Camino de Santiago. We arrived earlier than expected, but the warm welcome made the arrival even more pleasant. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, with impeccable linens. We all loved our overnight stay, especially the chance to relax in the perfectly maintained pool, sauna, and hammam. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious, generous, complete, and high quality. We highly recommend this guesthouse!
