L'auberge de Swan

The room was simple and clean, and the heated pool is a lovely extra. The homemade cooking was gourmet restaurant quality, and the price felt very reasonable. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly, attentive couple who know how to give guests care while keeping things discreet. They’re clearly passionate, and I hope these young hosts get the recognition they deserve. I recommend the place and wish them all the best.

The rooms aren’t modern, but they were clean, and so were the bathrooms. We stayed for two nights and found the price very reasonable. The couple were welcoming without being intrusive, and breakfast was good and plentiful.

The desserts were superb, and the portions were generous and nicely presented. The server was glad to help with wine pairings. It’s a fantastic restaurant in Pluvigner, with fresh homemade food. The menu isn’t huge, which often goes along with fresh ingredients, but there’s plenty to choose from, including meat and fish.

The hot plates could use some attention, along with a few other culinary details. Still, the fresh local ingredients were prepared well and tasted delicious. Swan welcomed us with kindness and an easygoing manner in this small inn’s understated setting. It was a very pleasant experience, and this young couple of restaurateurs clearly care about their guests. They took our feedback openly. Thank you, and we look forward to coming back soon.
