Camping Les Pêcheurs

We only stayed a few days, but had a lovely time. The pitches are spacious and offer plenty of shade, with a pretty little river nearby and the village close at hand. There’s also a nice pool with some shaded areas. The staff were very friendly and spoke English really well.

The free pool is large and clean, and I’d choose it over swimming in L'Ain, where the water quality seemed poor. The campsite itself is medium-sized, with fairly large pitches and electricity included in the price, though you need a CEE adapter. Showers swung from cold to extremely hot, and the toilets could be dirty. It’s fairly expensive, although the price is about average compared with other campsites.

We booked a shady pitch by the water for 30 euros a night, but left before checking in. The pitches were small, with little privacy or shade, and I found it the most expensive place with the worst sites. There was no fishing onsite, no waterfront pitch, and no free Wi-Fi as advertised. This place is a scam!
