Bella, the beautiful cat, was a particular delight 😻. The woman who greeted me at reception was warm and friendly. My room was small, but spotlessly clean, bright and comfortable. I didn't have breakfast, though it was available.

Finding the hotel wasn't straightforward, even though it's on the main road downtown. It's near the old bridge, restaurants and coffee shops. Our room was small but clean, with a good shower, and we could keep our motorcycle securely in a nearby garage. There's no air conditioning, but they provide a fan. We didn't add breakfast, which can only be requested on arrival.

We stayed here on a cycling holiday along EuroVelo17. The host was friendly and welcoming, and our room was well maintained. There's secure cycle storage in a garage a short walk away. Breakfast included fruit, bread, cheese, a boiled egg and plenty of freshly brewed coffee.

We were extremely disappointed and strongly advise against visiting this hotel. The room we were given, room 35 on the top floor, had a strong smell that seemed very unhealthy. When we told the hotel manager, she agreed with us but didn't want to offer any compensation. She was also unpleasant, and her attitude matched what other comments have described. We'll contact the tourist office and ask them to check that room in particular.

I slept extremely well at Marie's place, and breakfast was unique and satisfying. I left feeling rested and renewed, body and spirit. Marie was a wonderful host, and I so enjoyed meeting her. It felt like a home away from home.
