Ibis Budget Pontarlier

The location worked really well, easy to find, with plenty of private parking. There are also lots of restaurants a short distance away. Another Ibis Hotel shares the grounds and has facilities like a bar and games. Just remember this is Ibis Budget. The rooms and breakfast are what you'd expect for the price, and better than the usual Ibis Budget experience.

Getting there was easy, and the hotel, room and breakfast were the usual Ibis offering. I travel often for work and have stayed at Ibis hotels several times, but this visit with my family was disappointing. My room had a strong sewer smell, and between the blankets I found what I think was marijuana, which I threw away. In my wife's room, the sheets were very dirty. We could have asked for replacements, but on 14/08 a notice said nobody was at reception, so we had to make do. If I'm in the area again, I'll look somewhere else.

A good hotel, with staff who are friendly and welcoming.

On a last minute international road trip, I needed hotels quickly, and Ibis Budget worked best. The self checkout was ideal when I was in a hurry after a long drive, and there was no need to deal with anyone. Parking was available, including an electric car charger. The room was spacious, the bathroom large, and the shower roomy. It was quiet too. I'll look for Ibis Budget again.
