Suite Spa Privatif

A quiet location with parking for our vehicle made for a relaxing stay. The decor is lovely, and the table and breakfast were ready when we arrived. We highly recommend it.

The bedroom was depressing, even though the bed itself was comfortable, and there were stains on the sheets. In the main room, only two of about ten spotlights worked, so we could barely see. Mold covered the areas around the single-glazed windows, and we could hear everything outside as well as the upstairs neighbors. The ventilation system seems almost certainly not to be working, and judging by the condition, the place doesn’t seem to be checked or maintained often. The whirlpool bath was faulty, with many jets not working. The water took ages to heat up, and there was limescale everywhere. After a bath and shower, there was no hot water left. The photos also showed lovely black leather armchairs that aren’t there anymore. It was very cold because all the heaters were off. The living room felt dreary and lacked quite a bit of equipment, including a small oven and dishes. We’d brought food because the apartment is out in the countryside with little nearby, but without an oven we couldn’t cook it. We should have booked a table at a nearby restaurant, but they were all full. We were told Reims was 15 minutes away; it was actually 30. The place wasn’t very welcoming, and the security camera at the entrance didn’t reassure us. For an exorbitant price, this was shameful. We spent Valentine’s evening there and definitely won’t return.

The only small downside was hearing the upstairs neighbors in the morning. A little terrace would have been nice for those rare sunny moments. Otherwise, the apartment was clean, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The living area and bedroom were spacious, the bedding was superb, and the romantic spa space felt soothing. It was a wonderful stay in a luxurious apartment. I highly recommend it and will be back very soon.

We had a lovely, intimate stay, though the price felt a bit high. The small breakfast tray didn’t quite meet expectations: it had juice and little jars of honey and strawberry jam, but no butter. We would have brought some ourselves, which was a shame.
