Poor value for money, with a limited welcome and a room that smelled musty. This felt like a hotel from another era. The decor looked like the 60s or 70s, apart from the flat-screen TV, and the exposed wiring was covered in white cable ducts that looked awful. The bathroom area was tiny and very dimly lit, as was much of the hotel. Open the bathroom door and the toilet is right there, with the shower stall behind the door when it's wide open. The room key and lock were worn, making the door hard to open. We were almost laughed at for struggling with it. One of the two ceiling spotlights was burned out, too. Breakfast cost 7 euros and the service was lousy. The croissants were frozen and undercooked, and the orange juice was harsh. While we were eating, nobody offered more bread or croissants, then they offered them once we were leaving the table. In the morning, there was no chance of sleeping in, since the vacuum cleaners were running whenever guests left their rooms. Not great.
