Hotel Mercure Omaha Beach

The rooms need renovation soon, as they're not in very good shape, even though the hotel itself has a stylish design. The setting is beautiful, and the staff were super friendly. We also loved the restaurant. The pool and jacuzzi water were warm, but the shower beside the pool was really cold. Pictures are attached.

For the service on offer, including the spa and swimming pool, this is certainly the best hotel in the region. It's close to the coast, with a running track beside beautiful scenery, and the room was good quality. I strongly recommend staying here.

Breakfast was a highlight for us. It was served in the adjacent restaurant, a quiet, comfortable room with nice decor, and the food focused on quality local ingredients from the Bayeux region. The staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was spotless, well kept, and peaceful, and the grounds and layout felt calm and inviting. We could see that from the balcony too. The hotel felt cozy and relaxing from the moment we arrived. The pool was a good size, and the little spa with its sauna and steam room was a lovely extra. Everything was clean and thoughtfully set up. We'd happily return and recommend it to anyone after a peaceful, well-equipped place to stay.

We spent a couple of days here while visiting the local D-Day beaches and Bayeux. The hotel is in a lovely, quiet spot, with views toward the sea across the golf course. The service was excellent, and the heated pool was great. Breakfast had a very good selection, and we also ate at the restaurant in the same area. We enjoyed that too.
